"Intentional beauty...that's North Carolina.
Where else do they have a roadside wildflower program to beautify the state and uplift the senses as you travel from the mountains to the west, to the ocean to the east?
I knew the moment I saw them...I've found home."

News You Can Use about North Carolina....
October 2019: Fred Anderson offers a "Family Plan"
Every new Nissan purchased or leased at Fred Anderson Nissan receives a gift called the Family Plan. Used Nissan vehicles with under 50,000 miles are even covered. For used Nissan vehicles over 50,000 miles, everything but the power train warranty is included. The Family Plan has no pre-determined end date. You receive oil changes for life and it includes the oil, oil filter, and labor. The only requirement is that you perform your factory recommended services at Fred Anderson Nissan in Raleigh. You can use a loaner car at any time for any maintenance or repair over $300.00 and you will receive a free car wash at time of service. When your vehicle reaches 50,000 miles you also receive a discount card that gives you up to 10% off individual future services.
So, sell off older cars prior to moving, rather than paying a high transport fee, and know that Fred Anderson will be here to help you buy a new or used car with a Family Plan that cannot be matched anywhere else in town.
I used to fill out a change of address card and bring it to the post office, but in the past five years, I have learned that the very best way to notify the USPS of my change of address is by using the following service: Click here.
When you take your card into the USPS someone has to enter your information, and I have found the misspelling of my name and address starts when someone other than me types my information into their "system." I would rather enter it myself online for a minimal charge of $1.05 and receive coupons from Home Depot, Lowe's and other vendors who want to welcome me to the neighborhood.
Send all past vendors a post card stating you have moved to a new location; have postcards pre-addressed and pre-stamped for this very purpose. Make your transition to North Carolina easier by eliminating needless paperwork.
Create an Emergency Box
There are certain things that should NOT be packed and put in your moving van. Create an emergency grab-and-go box for your banking information, social security cards, school vaccination records, pet records, investment paperwork, marriage license, your precious wedding and family photos, home lease or proof of home purchase, and anything that is simply irreplaceable, and put it in your car.
I use a waterproof box with tight seal and have it marked in red, Emergency Box. The one below is made by YETI and it's indestructible.
